The grass collection outside the Duke's Garden includes important and decorative grasses in agriculture and horticulture. Some come from the temperate and sub-tropical zones. Samples of lawn grasses are also displayed. The bamboos, which are also members of the grass family, are to be found near the Rhododendron Dell. "The Sower" is another example of Kew's numerous statues.
